Doll Title

About Jareth The Goblin King:

Jareth the Goblin King is, of course, from the 1986 movie "Labyrinth," produced by George Lucas and Jim Henson. He is a one-of-a-kind art doll (my first) and is not for sale.

The Doll:
Jareth is about 21½" in height, but with him seated on his throne, the entire piece is 18". His pants are periwinkle blue spandex, his vest black leather with sterling silver rings, and his shirt is silk. The riding crop is wood and leather and has a claw handle cast in sterling silver - a crystal ball is set in the claw. His necklace is hand repoussed sterling silver with a bezel-set feaux stone. His boots, head, hands and portions of his upper chest are sculpted in Super Sculpey.

The Base:
The base is made of sturdy wood and clay, with bronze accents, and painted with acrylics. The ram horn is Super Sculpey and painted in acrylics. The cloth is midnight blue velvet.
